How credits work
- 1 credit = 1 published article
- Credits are reserved when a job is enqueued and refunded if the job fails
- Preview-only or failed jobs before publish do not consume a credit permanently (failed jobs refund)
Monthly reset
Credits reset each billing cycle when Stripe processes invoice.paid. A daily cron acts as a safety net if webhook delivery is delayed.

Billing-only lock
New workspaces land on Billing until a plan is selected. Content, brand, and CMS features unlock after checkout completes.
Running out of credits
When credits reach zero, new content jobs are blocked until the next cycle or a plan upgrade. Upgrade via Manage subscription.
