Generate an article

Before you start

• Active Pro subscription
• Completed brand analysis
• Active CMS connection that is publish-ready (collection, blog, or post type as required)

Queue a job

1. Open Generate.
2. Select brand profile and CMS connection.
3. Enter a keyword or topic (this drives research and the article angle), or pick a suggested topic. Suggestions are cluster follow-ups from SEO rankings — longer queries related to keywords you already rank for, each with a one-line why. Refresh shuffles the list. Clicking a topic fills the field; you can still edit it.
4. After the keyword is filled, optional stock cover photos appear (five Pexels results). Click one to attach it, or skip.
5. Optional: Preview before publish — Pause at awaiting_review for manual edits. You can still swap the cover on the review screen.
6. Choose Publish now or Schedule for later.
7. Submit — the job is reserved immediately.

Pipeline steps

Each job runs:

1. Research — SERP and related-keyword enrichment (DataForSEO when configured)
2. Writer — Anthropic → OpenAI → fallback
3. Fact-check — Claims vs SERP evidence
4. Cover — Optional stock photo picked on Generate.
5. Publish — Push to CMS (Webflow today)

Tips

• Specific keywords outperform vague topics ("Webflow CMS scheduling" vs "marketing tips").
• Suggested topics prefer 3+ word queries. Refresh SEO rankings if the list is empty.
• Use preview mode for sensitive or high-visibility posts.
• Failed jobs automatically decrement the article counter.
