Privacy Policy

Last updated August 25, 2026

This policy describes the information Jeenie collects when you visit our site, request early access, or run a workspace — including account data, Customer Content, billing, and analytics. Questions go to admin@thejeenie.io.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of the Jeenie service (“Jeenie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit thejeenie.io, request early access, create a workspace, or otherwise use our dashboards, APIs, and related products (collectively, the “Service”).

It applies to personal information we process as a business about visitors, early-access requesters, account holders, and workspace members. It does not cover websites, CMS platforms, or other services you connect to Jeenie, or third parties that have their own privacy policies.

By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Terms of Service also govern use of the Service.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of the Service, and information from third parties you connect.

  • Account and workspace data: work email, password (stored by our auth provider in hashed form), workspace name, teammate invites, and role information
  • Early-access and contact data: name, company, work email, optional website URL, and messages you send to admin@thejeenie.io
  • Customer Content: brand profiles, keywords, prompts, site URLs, uploaded materials, generated drafts, fact-check notes, images, and publishing metadata
  • CMS and integration data: connection details and credentials or tokens for platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify. Credentials are stored encrypted
  • Billing data: plan, subscription status, invoices, and identifiers from Stripe. We do not store full payment-card numbers; Stripe processes those
  • Usage and device data: pages and features used, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, referring URLs, and timestamps
  • Site and SEO data you request: public pages we fetch from URLs you provide, and ranking or keyword data retrieved for domains you designate

We also collect limited technical data for security and reliability, including IP addresses used for rate limiting, authentication cookies, and error reports.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to operate and improve Jeenie, including to:

  • Create and authenticate accounts, manage workspaces, and send transactional email such as invites
  • Provide content operations features: analyze public pages you designate, generate articles and images, run editorial fact-checking, and publish to connected CMS accounts
  • Process subscriptions, credits, and invoices through Stripe
  • Respond to early-access requests, support questions, and other communications
  • Monitor performance, debug failures, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms
  • Understand product usage and marketing-site behavior so we can improve the Service
  • Comply with law and protect Jeenie, our users, and the public

We do not use Customer Content to train public foundation models for unrelated third parties. We may use aggregated or de-identified usage data to improve the Service. AI providers that process prompts and Output to generate content for your workspace are described in Section 5.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage to run the Service and to understand how it is used.

  • Essential: session and authentication cookies from our hosting and auth providers so you can sign in and stay signed in
  • Analytics: Mixpanel (product events, typically stored in localStorage), Google Analytics (gtag cookies and page views), and Vercel Analytics for aggregated traffic
  • Reliability: error tracking and optional session replay through PostHog

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you disable essential cookies, parts of the Service (including sign-in) may not work. Mixpanel is configured to respect browser Do Not Track where that signal is present. We do not currently respond to a separate “sale opt-out” cookie because we do not sell personal information as described in Section 9.

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us operate Jeenie, and with destinations you choose. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Processors and destinations may include:

  • Infrastructure and auth: hosting, databases, and authentication (including Supabase) and job queues
  • Payments: Stripe
  • Email: Resend, for transactional and early-access notifications
  • AI and research: large language model providers, web-fetch or crawl providers, search and ranking APIs, image generators, and optional workflow tracing tools used to produce and debug Output
  • CMS platforms you connect: we send generated articles, images, and metadata to those accounts at your direction
  • Slack: if you connect a workspace, we send publish and failure notifications to the channel you choose
  • Analytics and observability: Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and PostHog
  • Professional advisors and authorities when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. A CMS, model provider, or payment processor may retain data according to their practices after it leaves Jeenie.

6. Customer Content and connected sites

If you use a workspace, you (or your organization) decide what Customer Content to submit and which sites or CMS accounts to connect. We process that material to provide the Service, including fetching public pages, storing brand profiles, generating Output, and publishing to your CMS.

You are responsible for having the rights to provide that content and to authorize access to those properties. Do not submit personal data you are not allowed to process, and do not connect accounts you do not control.

Workspace members you invite can access Customer Content in that workspace according to their role. We are not responsible for how your teammates use that access.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as your account or workspace is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.

You can disconnect a CMS or Slack workspace, or delete workspace data through the product where those controls exist. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period. Billing records, security logs, and information we must keep by law may be retained longer.

Early-access submissions are kept so we can evaluate interest and follow up, unless you ask us to delete them and we are not required to retain them.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted storage of CMS and Slack credentials, access controls, and transport encryption. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for configuring third-party accounts you connect.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to receive a copy of information you provided. You may also have the right to appeal a denial of a request.

To make a request, email admin@thejeenie.io from the address associated with your account when possible. We may need to verify your identity. If you use Jeenie on behalf of an organization, we may refer the request to that workspace’s administrator.

California residents: we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law, other than to provide the Service. You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws, we process personal information to perform a contract with you, with your consent where we ask for it, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as securing and improving the Service. You may have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. International transfers

Jeenie is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where we or our providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have different data-protection laws than your own.

11. Children

The Service is intended for business and professional use by adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact admin@thejeenie.io and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will apply going forward. Continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

13. Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to admin@thejeenie.io. The Service is operated at thejeenie.io.
