Terms of Service
Last updated August 21, 2026
These terms cover how Jeenie workspaces, subscriptions, and publishing tools work — and what you remain responsible for when AI-generated content goes live on your site. If you have questions, write to admin@thejeenie.io.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the operator of the Jeenie service (“Jeenie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of thejeenie.io, related dashboards, APIs, and any other products or services we make available (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating a workspace, signing in, requesting early access, connecting a CMS, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Jeenie is a content operations product. It can analyze a public website to learn brand voice, generate articles with AI, run editorial fact-checking, produce cover images, and publish to connected content management systems such as Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify.
Features, integrations, and publishing capabilities may differ by plan and may change as we ship updates. Some CMS platforms may support connection or verification before live publishing is available. We do not guarantee that any particular feature, integration, or output will remain available in the same form.
The Service may be offered as early access, a paid subscription, or another access model we describe at signup or on our pricing page. Early access does not create a right to ongoing free use, a particular feature set, or a launch date.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate information when you create an account or workspace and keep that information current. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by teammates you invite.
You must keep your credentials confidential and notify us promptly at admin@thejeenie.io if you believe your account has been compromised. We may refuse, suspend, or reclaim usernames, workspace names, or accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe could cause confusion or harm.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. The Service is intended for business and professional use.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and credits
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. Prices, included features, and monthly article credits are described on our pricing page and in your workspace billing settings. Amounts charged by Stripe are authoritative.
Unless we state otherwise, one credit is used when an article job is enqueued for publish. Credits reserved for a job that fails may be returned to your workspace. Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over unless we expressly say they do. Running out of credits may block new jobs until the next cycle or a plan change.
New workspaces may be required to subscribe before content, brand, and CMS features unlock. We may change prices or plan limits; material changes to an existing paid plan will apply from the next billing period after we provide notice, except where a change is required by law or a payment processor.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can change or cancel your subscription through the Stripe customer portal linked from your billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the paid period unless we terminate earlier under these Terms. We do not provide refunds for unused credits, partial periods, or published output.
If a payment fails or a subscription becomes past due, we may limit or suspend access until the invoice is paid. You are responsible for applicable taxes. We may collect them if required.
5. Your content, sites, and CMS connections
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including brand profiles, keywords, prompts, site URLs, CMS credentials or tokens, and any materials you upload (“Customer Content”). You also retain ownership of content that is published to your own CMS, subject to the licenses below and any rights of third parties.
You grant Jeenie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use Customer Content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, to prevent abuse, and to comply with law. That includes analyzing or fetching public pages you designate, storing brand profiles, and sending generated articles and assets to CMS platforms you connect.
You represent that you have all rights needed to provide Customer Content and to authorize Jeenie to access the websites, domains, and CMS accounts you connect. You are responsible for configuring those third-party services, for their terms and fees, and for any content that goes live on your properties.
You can disconnect a CMS or delete workspace data through the product where those controls exist. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period. We may retain information as required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce these Terms.
6. AI-generated output
Jeenie uses large language models, search and research tools, image generators, and related third-party providers to produce drafts, fact-check notes, images, metadata, and other output (“Output”). Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or similar to content generated for others.
You are solely responsible for reviewing Output before it is used or published. Fact-checking in Jeenie is editorial assistance, not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and it does not guarantee that claims are true, complete, or suitable for a regulated use.
To the extent we can grant it, we assign to you any rights we have in Output generated for your workspace, subject to these Terms, the rights of model and infrastructure providers, and any third-party material included in Output. You are responsible for confirming that your use of Output does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.
You must not represent Output as solely human-written where disclosure is required, and you must not use the Service to generate content you are not legally allowed to publish.
7. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not, and must not allow others to:
- Scrape, attack, overload, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law
- Probe or bypass authentication, billing, credit limits, or other technical controls
- Upload malware, or attempt to access another customer’s workspace or data
- Use the Service to generate or publish unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, or infringing content, or content that exploits children
- Submit personal data you are not authorized to process, or use the Service to send spam
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except through a workspace you control and we permit
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or the origin of published content
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access, remove content, or report activity to authorities when we reasonably believe it is necessary.
8. Jeenie intellectual property
Jeenie and its licensors own the Service, including software, models configurations, prompts we supply, visual design, documentation, and trademarks. These Terms do not grant you any right to our name, logos, or brand except as needed to identify your use of the Service in a factual way.
You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service, or use our marks in a way that suggests sponsorship without our written permission.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including Stripe for payments, hosting and database providers, AI model providers, research and image APIs, and CMS platforms you connect. Their terms, privacy practices, availability, and fees are outside our control.
A failure, rate limit, policy change, or outage at a third party may delay or prevent generation, fact-checking, image creation, billing, or publishing. We are not liable for those third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that Output will be accurate, unique, or suitable for SEO, advertising, or legal claims; or that published posts will rank, convert, or remain live on your CMS. You use the Service and publish Output at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JEENIE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THOSE DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO JEENIE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY AMOUNTS, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those cases, the limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted.
12. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jeenie and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your Customer Content or published Output; (b) your websites, CMS accounts, or third-party integrations; (c) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or law; or (d) a dispute among workspace members.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel a paid subscription as described in Section 4. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, if we must do so for security, legal, or operational reasons, or if your subscription lapses.
On termination, your license to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive — including ownership, AI output responsibility, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.
14. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including during maintenance, outages, or product changes.
15. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Jeenie regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on that subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and Jeenie consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state or federal courts located in the United States for disputes that are not resolved informally, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or confidential information.
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship. Headings are for convenience only.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to admin@thejeenie.io. The Service is operated at thejeenie.io.
