Shopify

Shopify is a live publish path — connect, verify, choose a blog, and jobs create published blog articles.

What you need

A Shopify store you can install apps on. One-click uses Jeenie’s Shopify app: enter the myshopify.com domain and approve Jeenie in Shopify Admin.

If one-click is unavailable, use Advanced with a Dev Dashboard app:

• Store domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com)
• App Client ID and Client secret (client-credentials → Admin API)
• App installed on the store with read_content + write_content

Connect

1. Open CMS.
2. Choose Shopify.
3. Enter the shop domain and click Connect with Shopify.
4. Approve Jeenie in Shopify Admin.
5. Select the blog for posts.
6. Optionally map ARTICLE metafield definitions that the Admin API can write.
7. Activate the connection.

Advanced: paste Client ID + Client secret for a Dev Dashboard app already installed on the store.

Credentials are encrypted in Supabase Vault (AES fallback) and never shown again in the UI.

What publishes

Title, body_html, excerpt, handle, author Jeenie, published: true, and optional article image. Mapped metafields are written when definitions can be listed. Products and pages are not in scope.

Gaps

• Metafield definitions require Admin GraphQL access. If listing fails, title/body still publish; the settings UI explains the gap.
• Required metafields that are not mapped (or have no value) fail the job with a list of missing fields.
• Published URLs use the myshopify host from connect, not a custom storefront domain.
